One of my most treasured finds this past year, Datassette is the nom du plume of J.M Davies, a technologist who I am convinced could produce a quality 8-bit tune while beating me in number munchers on a PC manufactured in 1988. Sure, a lot of his work is way to IDMy and abstruse even for me, but he’s certainly capable of some ace remixes and glittery electropop to keep you smiling and geeking out.
