shooting with a film SLR

Three weeks ago I came across my dad’s old Canon EOS Rebel Ti, with a couple of rolls of film that hadn’t been used in at least 6 years. In his camera bag he had two lenses: a 28-90mm, f4-f5.6 that came with the body and a telephoto 100-300mm, f4.5-f5.6. I didn’t realize when I started just how slow these lenses were, and it’s pretty tough to get any depth of field unless you’re inside 4 or maybe 5 ft. Anyway, here’s the result of me carrying this camera around with me for the last couple of weeks and getting used to shooting with it.
