On March 1st, New Young Pony Club released their second full length album entitled “The Optimist” and it’s fucking groovy. They have thankfully evolved from their minimalist funky synth pop, which there was absolutely nothing wrong with, into something with a little more depth. “Lost a Girl” has been a bit of a personal anthem since it’s release a couple months back, and the rest of this album does a pretty good job keeping up with it’s hype.
